Absolutely. You retain 100% copyright and master ownership. Kontraa only administers rights on your behalf for monetization and protection.
You will need to complete a multi-step form that includes personal and legal info, PRO info, song metadata (title, genre, etc.), contributor splits, and to upload attachments like the track itself and cover art.
You can invite collaborators by adding their details during the 'Contributor Splits' step of the submission form. The system allows you to invite them using their email or a unique Kontraa ID. They will then be notified to approve their assigned role and royalty split.
After you submit a song, your collaborators (contributors) are notified to approve their splits. Once all contributors have approved, the submission is sent to the admin team for a final review before publishing.
We require all contributors to consent and declare originality. All submission data, including timestamps and user IDs, is logged. Additionally, the admin team manually reviews every submission to ensure legal compliance.
Kontraa supports various payout methods, including local options like eSewa and Khalti, as well as bank transfers. Yes, each contributor can set their own payout threshold (e.g., $25). Our quarterly auto-payout system processes payments for eligible users.
You can file a Copyright Abuse report or a Takedown Request through the platform's ticket system. Our admin team will review the claim and take the necessary action to resolve the issue on your behalf.
